Livestock

  • Duration up to 12 months with possible extension based on performance. - 40 working hours/week + occasional overtimes (paid)
  • Salary rate before tax: 12.41 EUR/hr
  • Visa type – long term national visa, trainee-ship
  • Accommodation provided near the workplace for monthly rent – 278 EUR/month (inclusive of facilities) Room in a shared apartment.
  • Visa processing – within 2 - 3 months since the candidate has applied for a visa
  • Visa fee 90 EUR
  • Commitment fee - 350 € - Paid after confirmation that the documents are in order as per the Bixter Policies before submitting documents to Bixter for placement.
  • Medical fee of Kshs. 13,000 paid at the medical facility after the recording of the candidate at the Bixter database awaiting placement. Placement offered upon medical fitness confirmation.
  • Program fee – 1,400 EUR with 800 EUR – paid to the Bixter account 5 days after the reception of the signed contract from the employer and 600 EUR after receiving the first salary

  • Should have completed Diploma, Bachelor's or master’s program in agriculture, animal production, animal science, livestock production or pig/ dairy production studies and related subjects at an accredited university in Kenya under the ministry of higher education.
  • 21 – 35 years old.
  • At least B1 level of English (confirmed by interview with Bixter).
  • Should be financially ready (candidate covers own expenses for travel, etc.)
  • Driving license is not required, but privilege.
  • Appropriate work attitude and ethics

  • CV in Bixter format. It is obligatory to attach candidates’ photo with the smile as a motivated and reliable candidate at work, no passport photos or official photos.
  • Degree that proves graduation for the livestock program
  • Official transcripts
  • Copy of passport, all pages scanned
  • Recommendation letter from the Head of Department.
  • Personal Information document using the Bixter format.

Hospitality

  • Duration of the program is 12 months (with possibility of extension up to 3 years based on performance)
  • 40 working hours/week with paid overtime hours
  • Salary rate is = 15.50 EUR/hr
  • Accommodation is based on the candidate's preference:
    • Accommodation with hosts for free (including meals)
    • Accommodation separately for 300 EUR/month
  • Visa type is work with residence permit
  • Visa processing - within 4 months since visa application
  • Visa fee - 90 EUR
  • Commitment fee of 7350€
  • Program fee – 1,700 EUR (1,000 EUR upon receiving signed contract from employer and 700 EUR after getting first salary)

  • Should have a degree in home science, household management, hospitality management, home economics, consumer science, or related programs. The university or the college should be listed as H+ on the website on anabin. Check: anabin.kmk.org
  • 21 – 40 years old.
  • At least B1 level of English (confirmed by interview with Bixter).
  • Should be financially ready (candidate covers own expenses for travel, etc.)
  • Driving license will be an added advantage since a car is issued.
  • Financial readiness.
  • Appropriate work attitude and ethics.

Food Science & Technology

  • Duration up to 12 months.
  • 40 working hours/week + occasional overtimes (paid)
  • Salary rate 12.82 – 16 EUR/hour before tax
  • Accommodation is provided near the workplace for monthly rent – approx. 300 EUR/month (incl. facilities)
  • Visa type – work visa
  • Visa processing – within 3-5 months since the candidate has applied for a visa
  • Commitment fee to BeCourse Group – 350 EUR
  • Visa fee 90 EUR & KMK 208 EUR
  • Medical tests – 90 EUR
  • Program fee – 1,700 EUR with 1,000 EUR paid within 5 days after receiving the signed contract from the employer and 700 EUR after getting the first salary.

  • Completed Bachelor’s or Master’s in Food Technology or Food Processing. The university should be listed as H+ on the Anabin website (https://anabin.kmk.org/no_cache/filter/institutionen.html).
  • 21 – 40 years old.
  • At least B1 level of English (confirmed by interview with Bixter).
  • Should be financially ready (candidate covers own expenses for travel, etc.).
  • Driving license is not required, but is a privilege.
